By: Lisa Paris If there's one thing I'm good at, it's freestyle wrappin. The following recipes are easy to make, eat and take with. Not to mention, they taste bomb. So bump some rap and make some wraps! Players Club
Yield: 1 serving; 3-4 wraps ½ an avocado 1 large or 2 small fresh cobs of corn 1 large tomato 1 clove garlic minced ½ fresh lime 3 drops liquid Stevia Sea salt and Pepper to taste 3-4 collard or romaine lettuce leaves
All right Wrappin 4 Tay, cut the corn off the cob and place in a mixing bowl. Chop the avocado and tomato and add to the bowl along with your garlic and onion. Squeeze lime over the top, drop in the Stevia and give it a thorough stir (enough stirring and the avocado breaks down into saucy goodness). Add salt and pepper to suit your taste and spread mixture over the collard or lettuce leaf. Don't forget to wrap it up, Playa.
This Wrap Is Ludicrous
Yield: 1 serving; 3-4 wraps
1-cup carrot pulp (you can try grated carrot if you don't have juicer access) 1 large tomato, chopped ¼ cup chopped onion 1 clove garlic minced ½ fresh lemon Liquid Stevia Sea salt and Pepper to taste ½ avocado, sliced 3-4 collard or romaine lettuce leaves
This wrap was inspired by the fact that me and my homies roll on twenties with the top back, and we've got so much money you can't stop that... Combine first four ingredients* in a mixing bowl. Squeeze in the fresh lemon, add three drops liquid Stevia and a little salt and pepper. You'll want to stir the mixture well and taste, adding more salt, pepper or Stevia as needed. Smooth the filling over your collard or romaine leaf. Throw in a little sliced avocado and roll out! *Pardon my french but carrot pulp comes out the back end of a juicer (after the juice has been extracted). The dry, fluffy texture of the pulp works great in this recipe. If you can't get your hands on the pulp, try a cup of grated/shredded carrot instead. When attempting this, it's best to press the grated carrot in a towel to get the moisture out before using.

Yield: 6 truffles 3 ripe, squishy dates 6 raw almonds (preferably soaked) Dash sea salt These simple treats are a wrapper's delight! Half each date and remove the pit. Wrap each date half around an almond, arrange on a plate and sprinkle a little sea salt. You are now ready to put on your Reebok high tops, throw a boom box over your shoulder and enjoy. |
